Ah, the American hamburger. It’s a staple of our identity as a culture. Some people prefer theirs loaded with all the goodies and others… not so much. (Hey, they say that a lot of intelligent people are picky eaters, right?) Right there alongside the hamburger, though, is another american classic: the Sausage. Yes, weiners, snausages, weenies… whatever you prefer to call them, they’re a favorite at pretty much any grill out or sports event you go to.

Sometimes people like to have both weenies and burgers on the same plate. When variety is the spice of life, sometimes you’ve got to mix it up; complete with topping off your weenie with some spicy mustard. What most people never get to experience, however, is having a burger that’s stuffed with a weenie. Luckily, instead of attempting to make some kind of Frankenweenie Burger on your own, Cincinnati’s own Wurst Bar in the Square has already mastered the perfect mashup between these classics: the All Time Wurst Burger.

We know, we know… how can the wurst burger possibly be in contention for the title of best burger in the city? Well, let us paint a picture of weenie wonder: “The Perfect Blend of Ground Short Rib, Tenderloin & Striploin, Stuffed with a Cheddar Wurst Center, Topped with Crisp Onion Straws, Spicy Sweet Mustard, American and Cheddar Cheese, and then laid out for your tasting pleasureĀ on a Pretzel Roll.” Whew, is it getting hot in here? We’re feeling some kind of way, so we’ll be rolling out to the restaurant real soon. With a burger like that, we have a feeling we’ll be seeing you there.
